Getting started
Does OcuMap require proprietary capture hardware?
No. OcuMap is hardware-agnostic and works with supported files created by the cameras, scanners, drones, and mobile devices your team already uses.
How long does setup take?
Create a project, upload your files, and add a floor plan or map — most teams have their first project navigable the same day. No installation is required; OcuMap runs in the browser.
What happens after the 30-day trial?
Upgrade to a paid plan, or continue on the permanent Free plan with reduced limits. Your data stays yours either way.
Data & files
What file types does OcuMap support?
Photos, standard video, 360° imagery, LAS, LAZ, and E57 point clouds are viewed natively. Supported DWG, RVT, IFC, glTF, and FBX files are stored and viewed through Autodesk-powered viewing; PDFs, maps, GPS data, KML, KMZ, GPX, CSV, and related documents can also be stored and organized.
Do you keep my original files?
Yes. Originals are preserved as uploaded and remain downloadable. OcuMap organizes and displays your documentation without locking it into a proprietary format.
Can I view point clouds without desktop software?
Yes. LAS, LAZ, and E57 files open directly in the browser viewer — no plugins or conversions.
How is storage counted?
Storage is shared capacity across your organization, not per project or per building.
Sharing
Do the people I share with need an account?
No. Published Viewers open in any modern browser without requiring a recipient account. You can add password protection, download controls, and expiration dates when needed.
Can recipients see my working project?
No. A Published Viewer contains only the content you choose to include. Your working environment stays private to your team.
Is there a limit on how many viewers I can publish?
No — Published Viewers are unlimited on every plan under our Fair Use Policy.
Plans & billing
What counts as a team member?
A signed-in user who can upload, edit, publish, or delete. Viewers of published content never consume a seat.
Can I add seats to Professional?
Yes — up to three additional seats at $29/month each, for a maximum of four users. Growing teams with more than four users fit better on OcuMap 360.
Do I need a credit card to start the trial?
No. The 30-day trial includes all core features with no credit card required.
