Uploading videos and imagery
1. Uploading videos
OcuMap supports video files in .mp4 format. Once a project is created, you can upload videos by following these steps:
- Select the Folder where the video file must be uploaded to.
- Click on the upload button.
- Select the videos tab.
- Drag and drop your .mp4 file here. Note. multiple videos can be uploaded at the same time by using the drag and drop function.

Note on video resolution. While you can collect your video files 8K in resolution, the recommended streaming resolution for web videos is not to exceed 2K (2048×1080) however, you can upload videos up to 8K resolution (7680×4320).
2. Uploading panoramic (360 degree ) videos.
OcuMap supports storing and viewing panoramic (360 degree) videos in the equirectangular (stitched) projection. Videos must be stitched before they can be immersively viewed in OcuMap. 360 degree video files must be in .mp4 format. Once a project is created, you can upload 360 degree videos by following these steps:
- Select the Folder where the 360 degree video file must be uploaded to.
- Click in the settings tab and make sure the folder view mode is selected to spherical (360)
- Go back to the projects tab.
- Click on the upload button.
- Select the videos tab.
- Drag and drop your 360 degree .mp4 file here. Multiple 360 degree videos can be uploaded at the same time by using the drag and drop function.

3. Uploading imagery
You can upload imagery into OcuMap and use it as a repository for all project-related photos. Multiple imagery can be uploaded at once by simply clicking and dragging the imagery into the image uploader section.
- Select the folder you want to upload photos to.
- Click on the settings tab and make sure the folder view mode is set to Flat.
- Click on the upload icon.
- Drag and drop images.
- Edit image name if needed.
- Click the upload bottom.
4. Uploading Panoramic (360 degree) imagery
Stitched-Panoramic imagery can be uploaded into OcuMap one by one or as multiple images. Before uploading panoramic imagery, make sure you select the spherical or cylindrical viewing option under the folder settings.
- Select the folder you want to upload the panoramic image to.
- Click on the upload icon.
- Drag and drop images.
- Edit image name if needed.
- Click the upload bottom.
